MICs Sant Jordi For over 40 years, the Cheshire Friendship Homes Foundation has been supporting the welfare and autonomy of people with physical dependence. As part of its drive to update and improve its services, the Foundation has now decided to turn the Sant Jordi cardiovascular clinic into the Sant Jordi ICLM Centre. Independent Community Living Modules (ICLMs) are designed for people with physical dependence who either alone or with family seek to achieve to a high degree of independence and social and employment integration. The ICLMs help with this because they are autonomous individualized homes which at the same time have the full and uninterrupted attention typical of a residential centre. Through combining the advantages of individual housing and a residential centre, the Foundation has taken another step forward that maintains Cheshire Friendship Homes Foundation staff and centres at the cutting edge of support and services for people with dependency.
