To an ever increasing extent companies are building social responsibility into their business philosophies. This entails the commitment of the company to the community by contributing towards helping to solve the problems that really matter to people.

The Fundació Llars de l'Amistat Cheshire offers these companies the chance to become a partner in projects to improve the Foundation’s services.

Companies can help the Foundation by funding projects in the Homes, or by donating money or the goods and services which they themselves produce.

Decree 27/2000, dated 14 January, lays down alternative measures for those companies which have more than 50 employees and are therefore obliged to have a 2% quota of disabled people, but which for various reasons are unable to do so. One of these alternative measures is donations to and sponsorship of social foundations which include among their goals professional training, job placement or the creation of jobs for disabled people.
